Although I now get giggly at a brand new pair of heels, I wasn’t always the stereotypical shopping girl. I was a pretty big tom boy when I was younger. In middle school, I wore my brother’s hand me downs. Not just t-shirts, I remember wearing his old jeans.
Nothing like a pair of shapeless, high waisted boy jeans to really make a girl feel like a lady.
But they didn’t get forced on me. I took them willingly because I used to hate most shopping. Toys? Okay, that was awesome. But groceries? Clothes? Meh.
There was one condition that could change my mind.
As Dorie Greenspan proposes, would a daily serving of these cookies bring forth world peace?
I certainly see what she’s saying, these are serious chocolate goodness, but how long would it last? What happens if there’s a stall in supply? Imagine that sugar crash.
At the very least, I think I can use these to bring peace to my own life. Chocolate makes everything better.
I love chocolate. In cake, in cookies, in my mouth… I never need an excuse to consume chocolate. While editing photos, I discussed my love for chocolate with Trevor, and he gave his two cents on what he thought of when chocolate and I come together.
What’s your favourite food?
It’s always either a really easy or really tough question for people to answer. For me, it’s easy.
If you made me pick a flavour, that’s when it gets tough. Really, if you just make it cold, make it smooth and make it sweet, I’m there. Although the “sweet” isn’t necessarily required, and can be unexpected, but good.
This one is definitely sweet, but it also has a little tang. It’s a little different. It’s got vinegar in it. It’s no vanilla soft serve, but don’t worry, it still tastes pretty good in a cone.
Would you like some ooey gooey goodness?
Some stick to the roof of your mouth sweetness?
A bite of “I beg for a tall glass of icy cold milk?”
Of course you would.
